Tippie, CBC
I was born about May 1, 2002, exact date uncertain.   I was given away in front of Raley's in Oakhurst,  Dave Smart picked me up, and I rode home with him, a scared little kitty in the back of his Rabbit. He brought me to Ann Marie and there my new life started when I purred for her. They named me Tip(pie) because I entered their lives on the summer solstice. That was then. Now I have earned my CBC (Certified Bed Cat). I was educated at the neighborhood Mouse Management School, and now I am an assistant instructor. There are lots of trees for me to scratch here, I am invited to them any time I scratch the furniture. Scratching trees, hunting mice and birds, and climbing clothes poles (and Tyche's gate arch, that has his name on it) is all right, but nothing beats being on a nice soft warm bed on a rainy (or snowy) night.
Recently a "younger brother": Hermes, has moved in here.  I resented him at first, but now we have become great frinds and we wrestle on the living room carpet and other places.

More about Hermes!
