In the Sierra Nevada foothills, we are located in the tiny town of Bootjack — just 6 miles from downtown historic Mariposa [see map]. Mariposa is the gateway to the Mother Lode Gold Country and also only one hour from scenic Yosemite National Park. Come enjoy the peaceful tranquility of watching squirrels, birds and deer and see nature at it's best. Then take a trip up to Yosemite and see the breathtaking waterfalls. Later come back and enjoy a quiet evening in Bootjack and get rested for another day of activity. We have 3 bedrooms available — the Deer Room, Squirrel Room, Bird Room and a Dining Room. The Deer Room has a private bathroom. The Squirrel Room and Bird Room share a hallway bathroom. Sorry, but we are not set up to accommodate guests traveling with pets.
