"After graduating from San Jose State University in 1972 with a degree in sculpture, Sal Maccarone went on to do his art in a very interesting way" This quote sums up forty years in the business of  making custom furniture & sculptural pieces for hotels, theme parks, businesses, corporate offices, and private concerns all across the U.S., and in three other countries. Responsible for the design and construction of hundreds of commissioned pieces, and many restored historic buildings, Sal has had a very unique career. Innovating, and forerunning many artistic concepts, he has gone beyond woodworking with techniques and styling's that are new. This page is a means of sharing some of this work with the world.   Sal is available to discuss any project, preferably in the beginning stages, that a client may conceive.  Feel free to email, or call from anywhere in the world.

Shown below is a utube video of  “Cousin Jack” which was sculpted by Sal in June of 2009.  The sculpture, which was a commission, was entered into the Mariposa county fair.  This movie was filmed after the judging.

The book shown to the right of the video was published in 2009.  At 200 pages it is a retrospective of close to forty years of Sal,s work including; Cabinets,  Furniture Doors, Tables,  Wood sculpture, Interiors, and Kinetic sculpture.
